🥁We are very excited to announce the arrival of Freya Wordsworth as our new Associate for Ascension’s Fund III team.🥁

Freya will be primarily focused on due diligence, deal analysis, and portfolio support and of course helping us find the best and brightest mission-driven founders and future impact dragons tackling social inequalities.🐉

Having studied in Amsterdam and worked for several NGOs, Freya pursued her passion for the start-up world where, for the last three years, she held roles focusing on supporting the regional UK levelling up agenda, partnership building and start-up community support.

As you all know Ascension is a small team so any new addition is massively impactful for us and the community of founders and investors we serve. There are so many things we love about Freya but her combination of natural curiosity, ambition grounded in humility, kindness and desire to constantly learn and reflect makes her a perfect addition to our team.✨
