Community and events are an important part of how Ascension operates. Over the past two weeks, we have hosted three events across our network.
At CMS UK, we hosted a pitching event bringing together six of our founders to share the exciting companies they are building and their vision for the future. Thank you to Jinesh Vohra, Digby Vollrath, John Terry, Robinson Nouveau, Dr Andy Shapanis, and one additional founder currently in stealth (more to come soon).
The second Ascension Fund III AGM was also held, bringing together our LPs and founders. Fund III backs companies serving mass markets across fintech, health, and climate. The discussion focused on the fund's performance and strategic priorities. We are very proud of the portfolio we have built so far.
Finally, Daniel Glazer from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati hosted a dinner for a number of our founders centred on what it takes for UK companies to compete and win in the US. The conversation covered setting clear expectations around capital, hiring, and scaling in a new market. Thank you to Camera Intelligence for the great photo of Dan.
