Beauhurst's latest report on London's most active investors over the past decade ranks Ascension 3rd, with 163 investment rounds into 120 companies between 2015 and 2025 - placing us between our friends at Seedcamp (2nd) and LocalGlobe (4th).
As our Managing Partner Jean de Fougerolles put it: not that volume is the key indicator of investment success, but it's still nice to see Ascension cited among this company.
The numbers behind the ranking reflect how we work: we see around 6,500 UK opportunities a year and invest in roughly 25 new deals annually, with 40+ follow-ons across the portfolio.
